Desiring To Escape Out Of The Winter Weather? Think About Teaching Jobs Abroad

With high levels of wind, rain and flooding, the UK in autumn and winter can be a miserable place to live. During the golden years of retirement, many people move away over the Christmas season only to return to Britain once the snow begins to melt. If you have not quite reached retirement age but would love to sun yourself instead of struggle through the snow, then think about teaching jobs abroad.

Whilst you do not need to be trained as a qualified teacher at a school in the UK, you do need to take a TEFL course in order to be able to work in foreign schools teaching English to speakers of other languages. EFL training and other courses can be taken part-time or through distance learning, making it easier to work whilst you learn. carrying out your course in the summer means that as soon as winter arrives, you are ready to jet off and become a TEFL teacher.

Whilst this might not be a viable choice for people whose work commitments at home will not allow them to take off two or three months of the year, if you do work on a more casual basis or perhaps have a seasonal job in the UK, you could find yourself working in some of the most diverse and exciting countries in the world. There are opportunities in nearly every country in the world to work as a native Brit teaching English as a second or foreign language, including China, South America and Rwanda.

Not only might you be able to find a job where flights are included, but you could also be in the situation where your accommodation is paid for, you have long hours of spare time and your cost of living is less than it would be had you stayed in the UK.
Your colleagues back in Blighty will be seething as they sit at their desks staring into grey skies whilst you like on a golden beach after an easy day of teaching, drink in hand and a smile on your face. Pure Delight!
